Super Friday! With less than two months left until Way Out West takes over Slottsskogen in Gothenburg from August 8–10, it’s time to announce new artists. Today’s release includes 11 (!) new acts that will perform both in Slottsskogen and in the club program Stay Out West. Among them are the Swedish streaming sensation Arc De Soleil, dance-pop duo Icona Pop, former The Knife member Olof Dreijer accompanied by experienced percussionist Diva Cruz, and multi-artist Alba August.

Ayla has long toured with Cleo and simultaneously released her own music – this fall, her highly anticipated new album Pussel will be released. MRCY is a British duo that blends the warmth and consciousness of Marvin Gaye with influences from new talents like SAULT or Anderson. Paak. This is the future, but here and now. Stella Explorer’s musical landscape is a mix of ambient pop and dark rhythms that together create a loosely connected landscape with a clear red thread. Earlier this year, Absolute Music 2/5 was released, which unites and contextualizes her previous works in the best possible way.
