Nova & Alice - Way Out West

The two artists Nova & Alice are reluctantly sent on a joint tour by their manager. Alice is the established star with a large audience, but she has never written her own song, and her star power is fading. Nova is the new, edgy artist whose career is skyrocketing, but her life offstage is chaotic. The collision is inevitable—both musically and personally. But when the tour bus glides between the Swedish summer concert venues, everything is at stake, and they have no idea that this is the summer that will change everything.

NOVA & ALICE is an emotionally charged, music-filled drama both on and off the spotlight, starring Hedda Stiernstedt, Josefin Asplund, Johan Rheborg, and Adam Pålsson. Hedda and Josefin also perform the specially written music by Grammy-nominated artists such as Jörgen Elofsson, Fredrik Kempe, Molly Sandén, First Aid Kit, and Stella Lagnefors. The film is directed by Emma Bucht and produced by Lena Rehnberg of StellaNova Film, known for previous music films like Monica Z, Ted – För Kärlekens Skull, and Tjenare Kungen, with a screenplay by Bengt Braskered & Jonna Bolin-Cullberg.
