Kasino, also known as Johannes Runemark, is a songwriter and guitarist from Gothenburg who creates resonant melodies where electronic drums meet acoustic guitars, and whose lyrics does not shy away from exploring romance. Kasino debuted as a solo artist in the spring of 2020 with the single “Skriva om dig” followed by the EP “Du”. He has also written and produced songs for some of Sweden’s biggest artists, such as Veronica Maggio, Miriam Bryant, Melissa Horn, and Thomas Stenström. In 2023, he released the extension of his debut EP, “Vattnet är varmt snälla kom i jag lovar,” consisting of four more love songs, which he took on his first solo tour through Sweden that same spring. His latest EP ”Trött” was released just this may and soon we’ll see him take on Stay Out West.
