The transition to the new decade has been challenging for many of us. To dispel the darkness, England-born Nigerian Joshua Idehen has filled his highly anticipated new EP ‘Hold Up Your Chin’ with so much love and compassion that it nearly bursts. Alongside Ludvig Parment (Saturday, Monday), he creates a unique blend of lo-fi house, gospel, and poetry, establishing himself as one of Britain’s most promising talents.

Joshua is now based in Sweden but has long been an integral part of the English jazz scene. He has collaborated with acclaimed collectives such as Sons of Kemet and The Comet Is Coming, and has also released EPs with Flying Lotus producer Daedalus.
