London-based producer and DJ Effy grew up in the North West of England listening to the high energy sounds of artists like The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Effy was named as one of Pete Tong’s Rising Stars and has attained blanket support on BBC Radio 1 & Radio 6 with Mary Anne Hobbs.

Her debut EP Not What It Seems sees Effy stepping into the sounds she turns to when she DJs, as well as hearing that Prodigy influence with acid, rave and broken beat sounds. Since, she’s released tons of more music on her own and also collaborated collaborations with artists such as Mall Grab (also playing Way Out West this year!).
